Abstract

ABSTRACT

The tourism potential of Watuaji village has beautiful nature, besides that it also has a myriad of culinary tours in the form of varied village snacks. In this era of globalization, the development of food technology and the development of various types of modern food that make traditional food begin to be abandoned, this is caused by various things. In addition to the next generation of traditional food producers who are starting to become scarce, they are also constrained by marketing related to competition with modern food. Based on the above constraints, our KKN team offers a solution in the form of a "janso" village snack festival by cooperating with POKDARWIS Watuaji partners who oversee village snack producers which will later be sold at the festival. The village snacks festival was carried out in an effort to preserve traditional food and also facilitate sales where places for selling village snacks were starting to be difficult to find. In addition to continuing the village snack culture, the event also aims to improve the economy of the Watuaji community. The implementation method is carried out in 4 stages, namely analyzing with partners, collaborating with partners, working on plans and developing new concepts, such as performing arts in the form of traditional dances. The target of this KKN achievement is to realize a tourist village in Watuaji village, so that it can increase the income of groups or the surrounding community in order to accelerate economic and social recovery.
